#6 After going to the “Activation” folder in the registry, there you will see this file which says “Manual“.

#7 All you do now is right click on the file and click on “Modify“.

#8 And then simply change the value data from zero to one. And then save it.

#9 After that, you restart your computer and hopefully, you will no longer see that watermark.

Method 2: Use the batch file method

This is the second method which you can use to remove the “Activate Windows” watermark. To implement this you have to use the “batch file” method.

To execute this, just follow the above steps…

#1 Firstly you open up a new notepad file.

#2 And then paste the below code…

taskkill /F /IM explorer.exe

start explorer.exe

exit

#3 After that, you click on the type which says “file” and then “save as” And then you can name your file anything you want but you will have to add the “.bat” extension to your file name.

#4 For example, I want to name my file “Watermark” so I will have to name it “Watermark.bat“.

#5 Also, do remember to keep the “Save as type” as “All files“.

#6 And then save the file to your desktop.

#7 Once its done, all you do is double click on the file you just saved. And then it will take some time for the process to run.

#8 And then you will see your “Activate Windows” watermark disappears.
